Our business provides a cultural exchange service focused on promoting, educating and entertaining people all over the world about the didgeridoo. Recently Echo Tree was invited to be part of a cultural exchange exhibition held in Asia by the Australian government. Our role was to promote and educate people about the Australian didgeridoo. This entailed performances and an extensive display of didgeridoos. Indigenous music was also promoted and disseminated to many of the people who were exposed to the unique sound of this instrument. It was estimated that Echo Tree was able to expose this cultural icon to over half a million people during the exhibition. This included newspaper, radio and television coverage and interviews. You can view some of the photos taken at this event in our activities section.

Joyous Noise Music

Balan'daki, agave and staved hardwood didgeridoos. Includes link to Didjeridu Radio, gallery, and resources. United States.
When choosing to do business in this field, there are choices to be made about where you stand and what kind of compromises you are willing to make. Perhaps John thought he had it easy and all the decisions were made for him when he acquired Inma-Ku USA in 1998, at the time the largest importer of didgeridoos into the country. But in fact it just made more painful and apparent all the compromises that needed to be made to take the didgeridoo, originally meant to be individually made for use in the Australian bush, and make it into a mass marketable, wholesaleable item.

Didgeridoos, accessories, CDs, and Aboriginal art and artefacts. Includes profile, directions to store, customer FAQs, and contact details. Los Angeles, United States.
L.A.Outback
relocated from Laguna Beach, California, back to Los Angeles early last year. After three fun years with our toes in the sand and doubling the size of our shop there, the Laguna Beach space still wasn't big enough. So, as soon as our National economy improves we're opening a grand new space in L.A. that will better accommodate our sellout in-store performances and workshops, and also be more accessible to thousands of customers that found our Orange County shop a bit too far away.

Sunreed Instruments
|
|
Bamboo, PVC, and eucalyptus didgeridoos, cases and instructional tapes. Includes profile. Vermont, United States.
Didgeridoos : The didgeridoo (also: didgeridu, yidaki) is an Australian Aboriginal instrument used musically, in ceremony, and in ritual. Myths and legends abound about the didgeridoo and its relationship to the creation of the world in Aboriginal cultures. There is evidence it may have a history of over 40,000 years. Traditionally made from a eucalyptus tree which has been hollowed out from termites, it is often today made from bamboo and other materials. It is played like a bass horn, giving off a deep, resonant drone sound, unlike any instrument you are likely to have heard. Our instruments, made from bamboo, with a wax mouth seal, are burned with simple designs, and lacquer finished for longevity. They have every bit the tonal quality of the authentic Australian instruments, while costing far less. Complete instructions are included. Fine Cloth cases are available to protect your instrument. Quality music and instructional books, videos, audiocassettes available below.

Wandoo Didgeridoo
|
|
Mallee eucalypt didgeridoos. Includes artists, instrument care, and information about the tree. Western Australia.
WANDOO DIDGERIDOO is a small West Australian business born out of passion and respect. Passion for Didgeridoos and the Australian bush, and respect for the Australian Aboriginal community.
The word Wandoo comes from the Aboriginal Nyoongar language and signifies timber. In the early days, this term has been used to name any wood used for Didgeridoos. Wandoo is also the common name for the Eucalyptus redunca species that grows at the edge of the jarrah forest in the scarp of the Avon valley in South-Western Australia.
The driving force behind Wandoo Didgeridoo is Olivier and Vicki Roy,
Kerry Dickerson and her family known as "Yandi" (another word for Coolamon
which was a bowl used to hold young babies), Neomie Dickerson, Julie Dickerson,
Mitchell, and Tony Gintz.
We combine our complementary knowledge and experience to promote genuine Western Australian Didgeridoos and Aboriginal art. A spirit of coexistence, providing a crucial link between Western Didgeridoo enthusiasts and the Australian Aboriginal heritage, guides us.
We offer logistical support to Aboriginal artists to promote their art.

Moondrops Didgeridoo

PVC and eucalyptus didgeridoos. Includes customer comments, design inspirations, and links. United States.
Hi. I'm Sara J. and I am an artist from Michigan. I specialize in creating and painting beautiful windpipes, commonly known as the "Didgeridoo". I like to refer to them as "MUSICAL ART" which produces the mysterious droning sound of a didgeridoo. My "didges" are hand crafted from PVC and decorated with my heart and soul, in one of a kind designs of my very own. I put lots of TLC into my work, as I have the greatest passion for what I do! You can choose from my lower cost, PVC models, already painted, or for a bit more, you can have a custom designed "didge" made specifically for you.
Or...if you like what you see, and have a favorite didgeridoo of your own that you'd love to have me paint, send it on over! The sky's the limit, and custom "DidjArt" is my forte`! I would LOVE to paint for you.
I also have a small selection of genuine eucalyptus didgeridoos from the Australian Outback, gently "kissed" with my beautiful artwork. You can navigate through my pages with the menu bar above, or scroll down for brief descriptions of my individual categories. Also, to the right are some interesting pages relating to my own didgeridoo journey that I just like to share with others.
