Handcrafted and used instruments, cases, accessories, and books.
Our high quality line of all solid wood ukuleles continue to be produced for us by traditional craftsmen in Braga, Portugal the historic home of the ukulele. Designed by well know Hawaii luthier, Bob Gleason, our instruments are unlike any other ukuleles in the marketplace. All of our models are made from solid woods. No plywood is used in construction. The body is made from beautiful all solid Australian Blackwood, which has much of the same look and tonal characteristics as koa wood from Hawaii. Our necks are made from seasoned mahogany, for strength, and have a rosewood or wenge fretboard with accurate fret placement. The bridges are also rosewood or wenge, depending on wood availability. Both wenge and rosewood are very attractive hardwoods that make excellent quality fretboards and bridges.
