CRC reeds are made exclusively by Bob Morgan. Mr. Morgan has been making his own reeds for more than 30 years.
Chicago audiences know Mr. Morgan as an orchestra musician, chamber player, versatile soloist, and teacher.
He is Acting Co-Principal Oboe and Solo English Horn of Chicago's Lyric Opera Orchestra. In addition to his duties with Lyric Opera, he acts as Principal Oboist of Music of the Baroque, Symphony II, and Ars Viva.
He is a founding member of the Rembrandt Chamber Players, with whom he recorded the critically acclaimed CD 20th Century Baroque (Cedille). The Rembrandt Chamber Players were the featured chamber music ensemble at the first Greenwich-Docklands International Festival in London.
He performed with members of the Guarneri String Quartet in April 1995. He has performed as soloist with Music of the Baroque on many occasions, and has been featured on national broadcasts and at the White House with that ensemble. |
